This is one of the top options for my 2020 flashlight review. I'm using this one mostly in studio. It fits in the tube and it is extremely bright.
Specs (from Olight)
  • Max 1800 lumens output and 300-meter throw
  • Comes with a customized 5000mAh 21700 rechargeable lithium battery
  • Dual Switch (metal tail switch +multifunctional side switch)
  • The newest version of OLIGHT two-button straight tactical flashlight.
  • Includes the RWX07 Magnetic Remote Pressure

Why I love this flashlight?

  • It is extremely bright
  • It has constant strobe, and they are equally spaced
  • The magnetic pressure switch is a game changer. This is by far the best one I have used. With any other flashlight, you have to take off the normal end part of the flashlight and replace it with the pressure switch (that usually breaks after a few weeks)
  • It is one of the most solid flashlight I own (Olight makes real high-quality products)
  • I love the magnetic charging dock! It's great to not have to take the battery off the flashlight. And this is the same magnetic charger that I use for my headlamp! Boom!

Drawbacks of the M2R Warrior

  • The beam is just a bit too wide. That means that it is not as bright as other options at the same power (Nitecore MH12GTS for instance)
  • No dimmer. I wish I could have a version of this one with a dimmer ring... that would mean that I could use a single flashlight for everything! Until then, the Nitecore MT22C is still the best option for late night tube light-painting.
